A CELTA course can be taken in a variety of delivery methods, such as:

  • Full time – usually 4–5 weeks,
  • Part time – from a few months to over the course of a year,
  • Face 2 face, or
  • 100% online, or
  • Blended.

  • at least 120 hours of contact time,
  • 60 hours, of which would be practical teaching,
  • thus working on real-life teaching experience
